SECRETOY "Met" Death Golem
For many years now, I've had the idea of doing a clay golem. As it often goes, I had no real intention of making this figure when I did, having just made another standard size figure in the Masterworks Cadaver Kid. After being in the recesses of my mind for years, I guess it just decided it was time to manifest. I just picked up clay and spontaneously decided it was time to make the golem.
The Kabbalahist thought he could use his knowledge to make and control a clay man. He scooped all the clay he could find from the river bed and sculpted a giant man, he finished his spell by scribing אמת (Emeth) or Truth on the bottom of the foot. But God was furious he had tampered with such vile magic, men were not mean to create life, and he cursed the creature. The magician tried to reverse his spell erasing his engraving to מת (met) or dead. But it had no effect, what was done could not be undone Now he and his people would be punished for his acts.
This figure is 12" tall, so I imagine it will be 11" after being vinylized.

Masterworks Cadaver Kid
5 years ago I created the Cadaver Kid, changing the landscape of designer toys. It's hard to asses the gravity of the original Cadaver Kid, but I see it as the catalyst that ushered in the horror toy category, that has rose to prominence over the street figure style. Things have really changes in the past 5 years. Back then interest in designer sofubi was wavering, but now, tides have reversed, and sofubi seems to be more popular and appreciated than ever, attracting more collectors every day.
My ability has greatly changed in the past 5 years as well, I feel like a much stronger artist now. I thought the Cadaver Kid was due an unpgrade, Actually I shouldn't call it an upgrade, there is nothing I would change on the original 4" figure. I feel the level of detailing is pretty much perfect for that scale, so I'll call it an upscale.
I love kaiju and neo-kaiju, and sofubi as a material, but there is a problem with the association. People will use the terminology as a crutch, to excuse sloppy texturing, bad symmetry and form. I've always looked outside the kaiju and designer toy world to improve as an artist, learning from special fx makeup, masks, and creature design, among other areas. When I created the Cadaver Twins, I was one of the first sofubi artists to apply Special fx paint techniques to my toys, now I'm bringing the high detail sculpting techniques into a new Splurrt Masterworks line. This will be a line of standard figures, with unprecedented detailing. The line will feature characters new and old. Here is the first look at the Cadaver Kid Masterworks version, I'm hoping to debut the figure at NYCC, the hometown and birthplace of SPLURRT and the Cadaver Kid.

Shinjuku Demon
I just finished a new sculpt, the Shinjuku Demon. It will be about 11cm (4") tall. It pays homage to the underground ogre from Demon City Shinjuku. I saw the movie as a child and it was one of my first experiences seeing such mature animation. It was a revelation, to see what was being done in Japan in animation. The movie and underground ogre have always stuck with me. I am very proud of this work, and hope that other fans of the move, and the late 80s/early 90s anime era enjoy it. He should be in vinyl by late summer.

Marbled Cadaver Kids and Mecha Brain Cadaver Kids
To continue celebrating 5 years of Cadaver Kid, I've teamed up with Grody Shogun to give Cadaver Kid and Mecha Brain Cadaver Kid his amazing marble treatment. It's been probably over 2 years since a Mecha Brain release, and an even longer time since the first and only marble release. Luke and his facility have been able to achieve amazing effects and quality with their marble experiments, results that years ago just weren't achievable.
Cadaver Kids will be $50 and the Mecha Brain Cadaver Kids will be $55. These will be sold blind bag style, so you can't choose your marble color. There will be an order limit of 3 per character, so if you order multiples, Lulubell will try to make sure you get different colors.
These will go on sale this Saturday 3/26 at Noon(PT) exclusively at Lulubelltoys.com.
Thanks everyone for the continued support and love for SPLURRT and Cadaver Kid over the past 5 years!

BONE USIR DX GOLD LOTTO
I have partnered up with Mutant Vinyl Hardcore to create the worlds most evil toy. I wanted to pull a mettalic vinyl that showcased the Bone Usir as a true idol. It's hard for me to accurately descibe this vinyl, but it's bronzed colored vinyl with gold metallic flake infused, absolutely stunning vinyl.
The Bone Usir measures over 10" tall, and is articulated at the neck, arms, and legs and made in Japan. The painted version, is painted by me with metallic brown, pearl green, pink, and black sprays.
Figures come bagged with header card, and will include a few SECRETOY stickers.
You can enter for either an unpainted set that includes a Bone Usir DX and a regular Usir, or a Painted Bone Usir. I have also painted 4 matching usirs. These will be bonus prizes and will randomly be given to winners of the painted Bone Usirs. Please do not ask me for a Usir.
The Unpainted Bone Usir set will be $200 plus S&H This will be $15 in the US. International winners, your shipping will be calculated.
The painted Bone Usir will be $175 plus S&H, again $15 in the US. Shipping for International winners will be calculated.
Here's how to enter.
I will accept entries Saturday 02/27/15 from 0:00 to 24:00 ET, that means you can begin entering tonight at midnight.
Please send an email to keepthesecretoy@gmail.com with the following:
In the subject line, specify if you want the painted Bone Usir, Blank set, or have no preference.
Name
Address
Phone
Instagram or Skullbrain handle if you have one (Optional)
Paypal email address (the address on your paypal needs to match the address you enter with)
I will notify winners on Monday, you will have 24 hours to pay, or your win will be forfeited and I will draw another winner in your place.
Please, 1 entry per household. I don't like lottos, but you guys asked for it, so be fair to each other. Don't have your siblings, mom, and your 6 year old niece enter for you. Inevitably this always happens, someone wins, and then they say to me, I had my friend enter as well and they won so I don't need 2. If you have the audacity to tell me your friend won on your behalf, I will find them and I will forfeit their win and yours and ban you from future sales. This also happens, someone wins and then says, I didn't think I'd actually win and don't have the money, can you hold the figure while I attempt to sell another toy to pay for it. No, I will not. I will draw again and ban you from future sales.
So now you understand why I don't like lotto sales. Please don't make me regret this.
Thank you everyone for the support, please understand Rich has a huge fanbase, and there will likely be an overwhelming number of entries. If you don't win, please don't take it personally or curse me.
